Keryn's Nodders

On Saturday I headed off bright and early, with Annie, to Keryn's place in Tyabb, for a day of fun, creativity and fine food.  We arrived just in time for a truly scrumptious morning tea.
We moved into Keryn's delightful sewing room . A beautiful goodie bag was awaiting us filled with a detailed pattern, sweeties and lovely fabric and an ornament present to take home.
Keryn provided everything we needed to make our projects and we were given a large choice of exquisite fabrics and trims.

Then a couple of hours of stitching, stuffing, drawing and decorating until this little fellow was finished.
While we were working lovely aromas were drifting through the house.  Bread baking and sauce simmering and viola! a beautiful and delicious lunch was served.  Pasta with a homemade sauce, melding together the flavours of tomatoes, olives, spinach and adorned with wonderful fresh buffalo mozzarella.  We sprinkled with parmesan and added a fresh green salad.  Yum yum yum.

And then beautifully presented and absolutely delicious individual trifles served in darling cups arrived in front of us all.  Fresh berries and chocolate flakes topped each scrumptious offering. YUM YUM YUM.

A cup of tea then back to work...this time making Santa's little elf helper.
We chatted, we created, we laughed and again everything was provided with a wonderful range of fabrics, trims and decorations from which to choose.  Keryn is a fabulous teacher helping everyone feel confident and yes everyone finished their projects.  Aren't they cute?
Here I am with much loved bloggy friends Jo and Annie.
It was an absolutely brilliant day in serene and beautiful surrounds on Keryn's farm property about an hours drive from the heart of the city, even less from Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
Keryn is planning to hold more of these classes so I hope you will attend, you will have THE BEST time.  Very affordable too.  Just follow this LINK to Keryn's blog where you will find her contact details and you can obtain more information.

I want, no I need, some vintage bunting.  It is so lovely.
If you like it too, just pop over to Homemaker magazines site and following this LINK to the instructions and a template.  Many thanks to all involved.
Hope your day is filled with happiness
Love
