Cranbourne Botanical Gardens

John and I love the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens.
They are a great place to see Australia's native flora and the bird life is wonderful.  This week there is an extra reason to visit...quilts, quilts, quilts and other handcrafted works of art and craft.
I'm hoping to sneak in a couple of Leesa's Try it Out workshops - only $3 including materials...such a bargain.  All make up into little pin cushions.

Luckily John is a goodie and will be happy to grab a coffee, read the paper, do the paper's sudoku and wait for me while I stitch.
One of my lovely NOTYQ friends Marilyn has jewelry there too - all part of the Australian Textile Exhibition
I love everything about Jenny of Elefantz.  She is such a wonderful human being and a super talented, super generous designer.  Look what she shared with us last week.
If you would like to make one too please pop over HERE and follow Jenny's fabulous comprehensive tutorial.  Many thanks to sweet Jenny.

    Happy days.
