They are part of the Inchy Hexie Flower Swap very kindly organised by Janet. I'm really happy with how they turned out and hope my swap partner likes them. She plans for her hexie quilt to look like the ocean. I'm also popping in a lovely Theodora Cleave Christmas button.
These little bags are just so beautiful, and the stitchery pattern is very kindly shared HERE at wonderful Luli
Huge thanks to Luli.
Have a wonderful day
Love

I've just heard the very sad news that Melbourne writer, comedian and disability activist passed away suddenly on Saturday. I had enormous respect for this fabulous young woman and will miss her voice on the ABC. Huge condolences to her family on the loss of such a fine and good human being.
Those hexagons are perfect for representing the ocean!!

ReplyDeleteLovely hexies Mel! I was saddened to hear the news about Stella today. I was blessed to have met her a couple of years ago at a function at Admiralty House in Sydney. We were all invited to meet the then Govenor General, Quentin Bryce. She was certainly a fantastic fellow advocate for people with disabilities.
