Melly McNeice or should that be Mellie McNice

As many of you know, once a month I go to Stitching with Rose at Gail B's.  It is one of the highlights of my month, Rosalie is delightful and so much fun. Last week we were lucky enough to be at Gails when Rosalie's sister Melly called in to deliver her new books.

I've always been called Mellie by school friends and family.  If you ask Henry what is Granny's other name he will reply "Mellie".  So to meet another Melly was fabulous.  I asked her to autograph my copy of her book 'from Melly to Mellie".  And what a book it is filled with adorable fun projects.

Happy Birthday to my sweet Friend Christine from MacDonald's Patch.  We are off to lunch today to celebrate.
That's us with lovely Linda from Quilts in the Barn.

Thank you so much for coming back to my blog after my little break.  As a celebration of your return, I'm having a giveaway.  A copy of this fabulous book - Half Yard Heaven by Debbie Shore

Focusing on small, vibrant projects, this book offers a variety of interesting options for crafters to use only half a yard of fabric to make something lasting and beautiful. Since all the projects detailed use so little material, this pattern book is ideal for crafters aiming to reduce their stash of saved and leftover cloth. There are 26 gorgeous projects to choose from, such as aprons, bags, a chicken doorstop, a notice board, and gifts and accessories for friends, family, and the home. Uncomplicated and easy-to-follow, the guide is readily accessible to beginners with step-by-step photographs to aid in constructing Debbie Shore’s contemporary designs.

Entry to open to everyone, both here in Australia and overseas.  Please leave me a comment below for one entry.  If you are a follower you'll get a second entry - just let me know in your comment.  Good luck.
