Look what I found last Thursday
I adore vintage stitcheries so I was absolutely thrilled to scoop these up into my greedy little hands. They were left there by Rosalie and I'm so happy I found them. Big thanks to Rosalie.
I am a huge fan of Jacquelynne Steves of The Noble Wife. She is super talented and super generous too. This stitchery pattern is SO cute and would look fabulous on a tea towel or other project for your kitchen. Here is the LINK and there is so much more.
Hope your day is filled with stitching fun.
Love

Haven't you seen those before, Mel? I've got a box full of packets of those transfers, mostly Aunt Martha's. Spotlight and Lincraft used to sell them, but I don't know if they still do, because I haven't needed to look for them. I've sewn kitties, dancing vegies, and Sunbonnet Sue on quite a few tea towels and hand towels over the years!
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a comment but not sure if it got through Mel. I know you have to approve them first, but it usually comes up with that statement, and I didn't see it.
ReplyDeleteI have a few books of transfers of all sorts of different things I bought from a Hoppytex dealer around 24-25 years ago, I must dig them out from somewhere...... and keep them handy for some stitcheries. I also have some that look similar to your kitties I bought from a shop 27 years ago when I was pregnant with my first baby and I used them to do stitcheries on her little nighties and made some pillow cases and put the transfers on them as well..... A great find Mel.
