A new obsession

I know my version is shaggy and raggedy and even a bit sad but I don't care, not one jot because I am having so much fun. As our wonderful teacher, Rosalie Quinlan, said 'It's all about enjoying the process as much as the end result' and I couldn't agree more.

Yesterday I went over to Gail B's for a Rag Rug with Rosie class and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Rosalie was just as charming and lovely as she always is and the other class members were very nice indeed.
I loved tearing the strips of fabric and plan to involve little Henry with this task as I think he will really love it.  I learnt a lot and I feel sure my next rug will be better but I will always treasure my first wonky little effort because it was made with a happy heart.
It is going to sit at my feet under my sewing machine table when it is finished.

Today's LINK is not to a project but to a fabulous sewing tip.
How to make a teeny tiny hem.  Just follow the link to fabulous Burda Style.
Have a wonderful day
Love
