A Quick Update

A huge thank you to all of you, my dear friends, for your support, prayers and kind words.  It means so much to me.

 Unfortunately things are pretty grim at the moment.  Tests show my daughter in law has sustained very serious long term effects this time and is not expected to fully recover. She was moved from intensive care yesterday and is still undergoing further tests.  I'm currently living at Sam's place to look after the boys. 

 To make things even worse my darling little Matilda is very ill and may have to be put to sleep.  This will break my heart.

    I am so sorry to hear about your DIL's condition, it is so hard to have something like that happen at such a young age and now your pup too. Sometimes we get hit with too much at once and my prayers for you and your family.

    Mel,just caught up with the news. It is a very sad situation with your DIL, and Matilda, loosing a family member (4 footed variety) will be so hard as I am sure she has been a source of comfort for may years. Love to you and yours.

    My immediate response was to shed a few tears and want to give you a hug. Make sure you give yourself the chance to grieve a little. We don't have to be strong all the time.

    I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this. I too have MS and could not imagine how difficult this must be for you. I am right now working through a Bible study that teaches how to see God when the world seems so unfair. I would have to say that you were at the top of my list of "unfairness".
