She has a very sweet personality and now that my dear little Matilda is losing her sight and hearing, Pippi acts as her guide dog, shepherding her to the back door if Tildy wants to go out and sticking like glue on a walk to make sure Tildy doesn't wander away. Pippi melts my heart she is so sweet
BUT
leave her alone in my sewing room, as I did yesterday (I thought she was soundly sleeping on the day bed)
and she becomes Pippi the Destroyer. Yesterday alone she got two machine threads and one unfortunate perle cotton.
Yesterday I was having a cuppa and browsing around one of my favourite blogs, Quilt Inspiration, mainly looking at the pictures of the amazing quilts from the Feb 2014 American Quilters Society Show, when I spotted this fabulous pattern and thought you might like it too. Check it out under Tutorials HERE.
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Love
Oh dear....I had to laugh,my little dog is just the same.Shes fine if she's with me but left on her own goes straight for the cotton. She loves to sit by my feet when I'm using the machine,it's not good as often I take my foot of the machine foot but it keeps on sewing because Lilly is sitting on it,had some very frightening moments.lol.xx
ReplyDeletePippi could shake paws with my cat as she likes to unwind sewing machines. She does look cute but!

ReplyDeleteMaybe Pippi and Molly have been chatting! Perhaps they are related and both carry the chewing gene! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's a little bit naughty, but you would have to forgive such a sweet face. She was only trying to help.....
ReplyDeleteIt appears she does like the finer quality threads :) Perhaps you can rescue them for basting hexies.

ReplyDeleteSweet little Pippi, surely it couldn't have been her, it must have been naughty pixies. If it was her she likes pretty colours.
