Doing the preparation

for some Dresden plates.  I'm using some Cuzio by Kate Spain.  Not my usual colour palette, but sometimes it's great to step outside your comfort zone and use something different.
This project also gave me a chance to use the Perfect Circles which have been sitting in my sewing room, unopened, for a year or two.

Wishing you happiness on St Patrick's Day.  I've only got to go back a couple of generations and I'm a Bury from a good Irish family.  And with a surname like Daly it's pretty obvious John's got that heritage too.  Maybe I should go out and buy some green food colouring - but green beer doesn't sound very appetising to me.  Green cupcakes? Maybe not!

This LINK is to the most adorable project.
Maja shares it with us at her truly beautiful blog, The Snowflower Diaries, to celebrate her first year blogging anniversary.  Congratulations to Maja on this fabulous milestone and many many thanks for sharing your delightful patterns.

Hope you all enjoy a wonderful week.
Love

  3. The bunny is *almost* cute enough to make me want to XS again ... but not quite. =) I love the blue fabrics you are using in your dresden. Your little Irish girl is perfect - one I didn't have, too! I'm also Irish and have the skin tones to prove it.
