A Quiet House

My darling little Henry has gone home, the excitement of Let's Get Stitched is over and all is very quiet here at my place.  I had a lovely sleep in and then spent the morning organising the Angel Mortal Swap for my lovely NOTYQ friends.
Let's Get Stitched was brilliant and we were spoilt with amazing goody bags - I've got enough delightful projects to keep me going for months and months.  I'll show you bits and pieces of the fun times over the next week or two.  My main companions for the fun were my dear friends Christine and Shez.  Here we are with Sue, Vicki and Jenny.  Such wonderful women.
I'm afraid those are not halos above our heads but rather our names.  We talked so much I don't think stitching halos are deserved but boy did we have fun.  It was absolutely delightful to catch up with bloggy friends and make new friends too.
Here is Shez with dear sweet Fee and lovely Rosalie Quinlan, who was a surprise guest designer.
I was thrilled to meet delightful Dawn in person
and it was brilliant to catch up with Teresa.
I am a huge fan of Jenny from Elefantz so to spend some time chatting with her was an absolute highlight.
I could keep going and going sharing snaps of the wonderful people I met in person but I'll stop now and keep the images in my heart and photo album.
This project has a beautiful and romantic feel.
Claire at The Domestic Dash provides us with instructions on how to edge a beautiful piece of linen with a crochet edge and I for one am very very grateful.  I just love it.  You can find the link HERE.
Hope you have time for some stitching today
Love
