Sewing with my Friday Night Friends

I stitched a little cross stitch project as I sewed along as part of Cheryll's Friday Night With Friends.

While visiting The Little Stitcher I found a sweet little design for a tea bag holder. The cross stitch pattern was listed under freebie in the sidebar.

I made mine big enough to hold a few tea bags and a chocolate or two

I'm working on a secret swap project and needed a perfect circle so I tried this trick and it worked perfectly.
Huge thanks to fabulous Anna Maria.  Please visit her at Anna Maria Horner.
Now here's a swap I think many of you may enjoy.  Of course I thought of Shez.
You can read all about it at The Patchsmith.  There's a great tutorial on making mug rugs too.
Have a great day
Love

  2. Your cross stitch is really sweet. And there'll be extra smiles sewn into your stitches because it was sewn with friends. I've heard of the circle trick but never tried it. I'll have to give it a go one day.
