Lovely Liz

I love everything about Liz Stanway.  She is such a delightful person and her designs are sweet, gentle and charming just like her.  Luckily she works at the Patchwork Teahouse so I get to see her four times a year, when the NOTY girls travel to Warburton for a Stitchery Day.
This year Liz very kindly gave all 19 of us a beautiful gift of one of her sweet little bird stitcheries.  Thank you so much, Liz.
I chose to stitch one of Liz's designs on the day too.  Happiness is Homemade, how true and again the dear little birds fly around the design.  As you can see, I didn't actually get that much stitching done on the day - too much talking (as usual) by me. I chose a thread by Cottage Garden Threads called Kangaroo Paw and plan to surround the stitchery with a fabric from my French General stash.
I was very good and didn't go on a wild shopping spree but I could not resist buying these two little designs, again by Liz, to sew next year.

Please pop over and visit her at Teddlywinks.
Anyone who describes herself as Jennifer Carson, Children's Author, Creature Maker, Dragon Charmer is just my sort of person.  I am thrilled that I found her blog and how delightful is this little foxy fellow.
Jennifer very kindly shares the pattern and instructions HERE at The Dragon Charmer.  Enormous thanks to Jennifer.
