Hot, hot, hot

We are being cooked, boiled, grilled, sweated, simmered, steamed, baked, broiled, browned, fried, toasted, stewed, sizzled, seared, scalded, pot roasted and any other cooking analogy you can think of.  Heat and MS don't mix so I'm lying low - trying to stay cool while waiting for the cool change.

A really sweet little decoration arrived from Sisababe, thank you so much my dear bloggy friend.
HERE is a great tutorial for a fabric covered notebook.
It is very kindly shared by Jacquelynne at Jacquelynnesteves.com  Thank you so much.

  1. What a sweet little ornament. I take it you don't have air conditioning? You poor thing! I hate the heat...I'd much rather it be cold as I can always put more on but you can only take so much off! LOL! Take care sweetie and thank you for the fabric covered journal tutorial. I've been wanting to make some of those. Great inexpensive but pretty gifts.

  3. I think we are all getting the heat on the eastern seaboard melody - it is just awful - we are in the low 40's for the next few days - take care of yourself!! Thank you for the Journal tutorial - thinking I may do some of these with the grand daughters in January. Love that sweet simple little ornament!

  4. I am not a fan of hot weather either. I find northern hemisphere blogs very appealing at this time of the year!

  5. Hope things cool down for you soon. For a change the weather here in SE Queensland is quite pleasant, but it probably won't last!
