My NOTYQ friend...

...Anita is a very talented and creative long arm quilter.  She quilted the quilt which won the Viewers Choice Award at our recent Quilt Exhibition.  It was made by super clever Chris Heffernan.
Here are Anita and Chris together.

Recently Anita was approached by Melbourne designer, Michelle Rae to collaborate on her entry in the Melbourne Cup Fashions on the Field.
Here's what Anita wrote about the project
We collaborated on the design which reflected the Flemington Roses, feathery fascinators and the blooms of spring. Here is bodice fabric that was quilted with my hand guided longarm quilting machine. The design graded in size down the piece from very tiny at the top to fairly small at the bottom.  This was one occasion when ‘quilted to death’  was the way to go.

Isn't it brilliant and here is the finished garment.
