Quilts in the Barn...

...was as wonderful as ever. It was a beautiful warm sunny morning when Christine and I spent a morning at this fabulous exhibition.
This year the theme was All About Chintz and the quilts were breathtakingly beautiful.

Up high...

...and down low - there was beauty everywhere.

Magnificent quilts, a morning with my dear friend Christine, a private tour of lovely Linda's sewing room and a look at other fabulous quilts in her wonderful home, a catch up with other quilting friends. a chat with lovely Gail Pan...

...and a big piece of chocolate cake.  The ultimate morning out.

Here's a LINK to a super cute Ruffled Christmas Stocking pattern and tutorial at wonderful Create Kids Couture.  Many thanks to Shannon and Tiffany.
