A hidden treasure

One of the really fun parts of Crafty Hijinks was the area where you could leave craft goodies you no longer wanted and everyone else could take home anything that took their fancy.  It covered the whole stage and goodies were added as people arrived.

I spotted a raggedy bag that contained scraps of linen and what I thought were a few threads.  There were also some patterns and unfinished cross stitch projects.  When I got home and took a look I could barely contain my excitement.
49 unused DMC threads
9 unused Weeks Dye Works threads

Shouldn't have to buy threads for awhile and don't be surprised if I send you a parcel that there are some threads in there too.  It's always good to share the bounty.

The school holidays start here in Victoria so I thought this was a fun project to make with some kids.
The tutorial and instructions are HERE with a great printable template too.  Huge thanks to Mr Printables where there is always so much to see and do.

  3. I came over yesterday and then before I could comment my pc went bye-bye....the fan has stopped working so when it gets too hot it just shuts down and I have to wait until it cools before I can log back in. At least it still works and it doesn't start a fire!
I Ioved the Crafty Squirrel! I would go "nuts" if I could shop there! Pun intended! LOL! It's good that I landed in a place where you have to drive 2 hours to the nearest "fun" store else I would be broke all the time! The internet is bad enough.
You were so lucky to get all those great threads and the pin keeper with the pretty glass headed pins! Wow! People here don't have things that nice when they're selling them much less for free! Awesome blossom! You deserve it as I've seen you gift so many pretty things that you've made with your own hands. As always thanks for the free patterns! TTYL!
