Another little dress for Betsy

I am really enjoying stitching these little dresses for Betsy's Closet,
although I think I'll be doing some reverse sewing as I think Betsy's sash is a shade or two too light.  I think I'll wait until the other four outfits are stitched first.  I plan to stitch one a week throughout July.
Beyond the Fringe is a brilliant place to visit for fabulous free images suitable for stitcheries.
This one is so gorgeous.
Huge thanks to Carmen.

  8. Don't un-sew, but consider wrapping your backstitches with another color (slide a threaded tapestry needle under the stitches) to give it more depth and color. I used this stitch on one of my garments where a line looked too thin (the yoke seam on the overalls)and this saved the time of taking it out. It ends up looking like a stem stitch. Just a thought.
