Colour Swap

My gift recipient in lovely Cheryll's Colour Swap was Anorina over at Samelia's Mum. I was overjoyed when I saw she wanted Aqua as her colour as it is one of my favourite colours too.  I have heaps of aqua fabrics in my stash so it was easy to get started.  First I completed two cute stitcheries

them made a bag and used them as pockets.

I was lucky enough to find this make-up brush set and mirror for a bargain price so I had something cute to pop inside.
On my shopping expedition I found some super cute aqua sweeties, lollipops and candied almonds
and a beautifully scented aqua candle.
Lastly I stitched some spotty dotty LOVE letters
and made them into aqua bunting.
Finally I popped in some aqua paint so Anorina could put her much loved children's handprints on each end panel of the bunting.
I was really happy with this swap parcel and had a lot of fun putting it together.

There is a great tutorial for this fabulous cot quilt very kindly shared HERE at Two Little Banshees.  Many thanks to Kate.
