A dear bloggy friend

is undergoing chemo treatment.  I wanted to send a little something to let her know I'm thinking of her and so I made a little bag of sunshine to send her way.
This lovely stitchery was designed by Val at Journey of a Stitcher and I was very happy to make it into a little mini.
You've seen this sweet stitchery by Michelle from Rag Tag Stitchin' in an earlier post- it's now a heat pack.
The rest of the gift was a selection of sunshiny coloured bits and pieces I was able to find at my local shops.

Cheryll is taking names for her Christmas in July Swap - of course I signed up, it should be so much fun.

This made me think all things Christmas and so I wanted to share this brilliant resource - We Love to Illustrate. If you look on the December 1st, 2012 post you will find 6 amazing free downloads for wonderful Ginger Bread Houses .  Here's a sample.
