Tuesday Treasures and a Giveaway

Today's treasure is this beautiful bird quilt.  It was made by our lovely Fiona from BubzRugz and I received it when I was lucky enough to have Fiona as my partner in a swap.  It hangs in my family room and is just one of many bird themed treasures I have around my house.
One of my favourite activities is watching the birds who visit my garden daily.  We wake up every morning to a shrill chorus of squeaks, squeals and chirps as they demand (there is no other word for it) we fill up their feeders.

Do you have something you treasure that you would like to share with us.  It can be thing, a person or a place, a thought, a dream, in fact anything you choose.  Just pop your details into Mr Linky and play along.

A Giveaway
This month's Tuesday Treasures giveaway has a bird theme.  You could win this beautiful book by Shirley Barber + some other bird themed goodies including birdie fabric.

It's very easy to enter just share a Treasure for one entry, leave a comment for another, do both and you will receive two entries.  I'm happy to post anywhere in the world so entry is open to everyone and you have a week to enter.  I'll announce the winner next Tuesday.
Of course today's link had to be to something birdy and I love these little fellows.
Wouldn't they make fabulous gift tags or look delightful on your Christmas tree?
A wonderful tutorial is shared on Harbour Breeze Home.  Here's the LINK.  Enormous thanks to Rita.

  15. Very beautiful book. My father was an avid bird watcher and in the last days on earth he turned me onto the beauty of birds in photos as well as in my own back yard. Birds are one of God's gifts to us. Very beautiful quilt.

  16. Thank you for the chance to win. Although I cannot see many birds from the sewing room window, their beautiful singing and cheerful chirping brings me peace and confirms for me that spring is truly here.
