It took two evenings

Friday Night Sew In had to extend to Saturday night sew in too, but I have now finished the stitching on this lovely Teddlywinks project.  It was lovely to stitch such a charming drawing from Liz

In fact it was so lovely to stitch I ordered two more projects from Liz - one for me and one to stitch into a present.

I'm with Yvette of Abernathy Crafts.  It is fun to personalise everything.
Here's the LINK to this very easy project.  Big thanks to Yvette for sharing this idea.

  6. I need to do something where I can see some results faster! That stitchery is so cute and I love the other ones you had pictured too. I love the idea of using them in other ways. I wouldn't have thought of that.
Thanks also for the tutorial on the steering wheel cover...I grabbed that one as the one I have is falling apart and she had one on seat belt covers I grabbed too. A sure way to brighten up my "beige" SUV! I keep forgetting about Friday night stitch in....I've started so many things lately...groups and stitchery...I need a schedule or a program to keep track! LOL! I spent last night ordering supplies to do the things I committed to! LOL! But I'm loving it all and the great people I meet along the way...like you! Hope you're all better now. TTYL!

  11. Your little bear looks gorgeous Mel, I have just finished her also, but used D.M.C.221, all red work, used French General fabrics for the borders. I love "Teddlywinks" patterns, Liz's bears have such sweet faces.I would like to do another one now in colour. Cheers R.
