A fabulous free gift for everyone

When Eric from Fons and Porter asked me if I would like a copy of their ebook Log Cabin Quilts to review I very happily replied with a resounding YES PLEASE.  I've always wanted to make a log cabin quilt and had already decided 2013 would be the year.
Even better, Eric wanted me to share this good fortune with you and so he sent me a LINK which will allow everyone to download a free copy of this fabulous book.

So what do I think of Building Your Best Log Cabin?
I think it is fabulous.  I love the eye catching quilts featured in its pages.  I love the fact that we are shown both antique and contemporary quilts.  I love the designers who have contributed patterns, they include Ricky Tims, Shon McMain, Lori Christianson and Marti Mitchell.
There are fabulous tips and techniques and charts to help you make the blocks in a variety of sizes and the tutorial photos are clear and informative.
I find all the projects very appealing and plan to make the Woven Log Cabin out of my lovely French General stash.
I'll be doing this as a part of a January Workshop at my NOTYQ group on two days in January. How fortuitous that we were asked to bring along our own pattern for a quilt with a 'woven' look and I just adore this design so it will be perfect.
In addition to four fabulous quilt patterns, with infinite opportunity for variation, there are three easy to follow tutorials on  Bobbin Work with TrapuntoBinding with Piping and Liz's Lumpless Binding.

Fons and Porter are the publisher of Fons and Porter For the Love of Quilting and their website includes all sorts of wonderful free goodies such as a huge range of free quilt patterns and other free ebooks.  While I was having a browse around I noticed a great offer and plan to use some of my Christmas money from my lovely mum and dad to subscribe.

FABULOUS FREE STUFF
Huge thanks to Eric from Fons and Porter for allowing me to share a link to this very appealing and informative ebook.  I'm sure you will enjoy it too.  Just click HERE

I'm off to have afternoon tea with my gorgeous friends Christine of MacDonald's Patch and Simone from Quilts and Cats at Piccalo Meccanico.  Yum yum!

See you tomorrow for Tuesday Treasures.
