Tuesday Treaures

Today's treasure is Mary Englebreit and her beautiful illustrations.  I've always loved her work so when I spotted this delightful little book for only $5 in a local bookshop I grabbed the bargain and happily scampered home.
It's called Words to Live By and is full of beautiful illustrations,

and delightful quotes, many of which would make gorgeous stitcheries. I love this one.

I didn't realise but her gorgeous website has a giveaway each week.  It's only open to USA residents so we Colonial Commoners (to quote Mark Kermode) can't enter but I thought it might be of interest to some of my American friends so I thought it was worth mentioning here.

Mary does have a free downloads section which is available to us all.  Follow this LINK to find free screen savers, I love you letters and gift tags such as this delightful one.  Huge thanks to Mary for sharing these.
Do you have something you treasure to share with us today.  Just pop your details into Mr Linky and play along.

FABULOUS FREE STUFF
Christmas always makes me think of stars twinkling in the sky so when I saw this lovely foundation pieced block,

with a great tutorial, I wanted to share the LINK.  Amber at A little Bit Biased is always so creative and generous with what she shares.  Many thanks to her.
