Tuesday Treasures

John and I have started a little project.  One day I was browsing through the information pages of our local street directory, Melways, and I happened upon a list of all the piers, wharves and jetties stretching from Phillip Island to Queenscliffe. I thought it would be fun to see if we could visit all of them within a year.  

 When I suggested we link this in with a visit to nearby cake shops, John readily agreed and we have been walking along some piers while eating cake for the last few weekends.  We visited Flinders Pier on the same day as we went to the Mornington Peninsula Hinterland Scarecrow Festival.

    Gee John sounds like Mr R. A lovely idea and I am sure you enjoyed the quality control taste testing of the cakes too.LOL! Time spent together is always a treasure.

    What a wonderful idea! The Red Hill bakery makes lots of yummy delights! Looove their lamingtons!
