The most wonderful morning.

On Friday, Christine and I took a trip to Wonga Park to view Linda's brilliant Quilts in the Barn Exhibition.
Quilts in the Barn is always fabulous, but I think this is the best one ever.  We actually squealed aloud with happiness, awe and wonder as we wandered through.

Everywhere you looked there was something glorious.

One of the absolute highlights was meeting lovely Linda in person.  She is so delightful. (That's me, Linda and Christine in the picture below)

And it was brilliant to meet the Quilted Crow ladies in person too.  I'm in their Wooly Bits Club and that's where I get all the beautiful fabrics I used for my wooly pincushions.

No wonder we ooohhh and arhhhed. The Quilts were amazing.

We enjoyed a really delicious devonshire tea on quilt covered tables in a beautiful garden setting.  The scones were delicious, light and fluffy - freshly baked by Linda that morning.  It was great to meet some really lovely ladies from Waverley Quilters over a cuppa and all in all it was the most wonderful morning.

I think huge thanks and congratulations should go to Linda for organising such a magnificent show and raising funds for a very worthy cause, Breast Cancer Research.
