Hi Tracey, I did buy the tin in Mentone on Saturday. This is very exciting - see I really do love it - thank you for your fabulous service, Hugs Mel
I've just signed up for a new project - a Sew-a-Long with Jenny and Kathy of Brenda Riddle's lovely pattern Betsy's Closet in Stitches.I bought my pattern HERE for $13.95 including postage. As soon as it arrives I'll get started. I'm using fabric from my stash for this project. Here's what I've selected.
I chose colours similar to those in this beautiful hand painted button which was a gift from my dear friend Michelle.
This little quilt is not too large so it's not daunting at all and I think it will be lots of fun. There is still time to join in.
This group has its very own blog, Stitching Betsy's Closet.
FABULOUS FREE STUFF
It's wonderful to have my stitching mojo back and to gather pressies in my present basket so that Christmas gifts won't be a rush. I'll definitely be adding some of these delightful snowman bags to my collection. This is a new free project from one of my very favourite designers, sweet Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill. I just love her style. Here's the LINK.

ReplyDeleteYour new tin is so cute with the Poodle on it Mel. I love tins also, I work for a Japanese company and when we have visitors from Japan they always come bearing gifts, sometimes the goodies are cakes, chocolates or biscuits in the most gorgeous tins. I have quite a collection at home from the past 16 years. Gorgeous boxes as well. xx
ReplyDeleteI love the poodle tin. If you bought it in Mentone I think I might have sold the tin to you as I sold the same tin to a lady that mentioned she was going to use it as a sewing tin.
