One Flower Wednesday

Two little swap hexie flowers this week, as part of lovely Jane's Inchy Hexie Flower Swap.  I love being part of this group.  My swap partner asked for 30's style fabrics so I hope these will fit in with her garden.

Every week lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter gives us the chance to share our flowers as part of One Flower Wednesday.  Thanks so much Karen.
FABULOUS FREE STUFF

How adorable is this Matryoshka doll very kindly shared with us in a great tutorial at My Sparkle. Thank you so much Danielle.
If you enjoy paper piecing don't forget to pop over and visit Tonya at Hillbilly Handiworks for her  Ahhhh Hexalong.  She has heaps of fabulous ideas.
Time to sign up for another fun Friday Night Sew In with Bobbi and Heidi.  Sign up is with Bobbi this month so pop over to Crafty Vegas Mom and join in the fun.

A few people have asked about the little wall hanging on display behind my old Singer in yesterday's Tuesday Treasure picture.  I bought it as a kit about 15 years ago on a holiday in Victoria's western district. I think it was from a patchwork shop in the old court house in Camperdown.
Unfortunately I can't recall the pattern's name or the designer.  The kit was fabulous as it came with a set of 9 little charms.

Each little vest has an inside pocket and each contains a different charm including a key, a money bag, a mirror, a pair of glasses, a teddybear, a heart and a watch.
I've spent a bit of time searching for the pattern, to no avail. I may even have given it away years ago.

  4. I saw that little waistcoat quilt in your previous post and recognised it because I bought the pattern at the Craft Show a couple of years ago. Mine came with little wire coathangers. I have collected the materials but not sure when I will get around to making it. It's very cute!
