Another month, another project I can't resist. This one looks really easy, only runs for 5 weeks and I'd love my own Little Forest quilt.
It's a Quilt-A-Long. Read more HERE and maybe you will join in too. Thanks to Mama Pea and Linda for organising this. Should be fun - off to dig out some greens and download the free pattern.
PS I'm going to make my trees this way. Thanks Ariane at Ariene Quilts

If you are going to foundation piece the trees like the link tutorial, use greaseproof paper to draw out your foundations. Very easy to tear away and it is very cheap! Look forward to seeing the finished product.
ReplyDeleteYou just can't help yourself!! I must agree, it does look great. And I like your idea for making the trees too. Enjoy the fun.
ReplyDeleteLove your owl block on the other post, as well.

ReplyDeleteA great quilt and I love trees but I am going to pass at this time even though I am tempted.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are in! And thanks a lot for blogging it, too. I made up 4 sample blocks last night, and it works up pretty fast. It's going to be a lot of fun!
