Teddy Bears Picnic.

Today is a picnic day here at the House on the Side of the Hill and dear little Dora is coming along.

I found her sitting on the bedside table waiting for me to wake up, that's how keen she is to have her turn on the picnic. She was made for County Threads quite a few years ago.  I still love her.

Fabulous Free Things

 Again I've been hunting around the web for some fun free patterns. A picnic in a field of flowers is always a delight and I thought that with Mothers Day coming up, some flower patterns would be a good idea.  So here goes.

 A lovely felt flower pin from the very talented Laura 'Lupin' Howard at Folksy.  Laura gives detailed step by step instructions for this very achievable project.

 There's a mini felt flower bouquet brooch at Free Felt Patterns and Tutorials.  This is a brilliant site with lots and lots of wonderful free patterns,

including this Dahlia felt flower too.
