There is only one flower, for my Confetti Quilt, to share this week, as I've been working on quite a few other things. I think it is a pretty one.
If you pop over and visit lovely Karen at Journey of a Quilter you will be able to see heaps more wonderful hexie flowers.
Some people have asked me how I fussy cut my hexies and I couldn't do it without my fabulous hexie template from Jane at Want It, Need It, Quilt.
The best $3.50 I've ever spent. This week I ordered a couple more for two ladies at Kilmore Quilters and Jane included a present for me - this beautiful Christmas owl fabric and its delightful dotty partner. Thank you so much Jane.
Even if you don't make hexies take a look at Jane's shop as she has the most amazing bargains. Don't buy all the 3 Sister's Grace layer cakes as I'm planning to order one tomorrow on payday.
I'm off to my weekly quilting group this morning and a monthly Kilmore Quilters meeting tonight so I'll try and get a head start on next weeks' hexie flowers while I'm there.
It is a pretty one Melody! And, the owl fabric is a hoot!
