Tuesday Treasures

Maybe it's because I'm part of Fiona's pin cushion swap at BubzRubz, but I've been thinking about pin cushions quite a lot lately.  This is one of my favourites and I thought I'd share it for Tuesday Treasures today.  I bought it at the Kilmore Quilt Show in 2009.  I love the way the maker matched the embroidery design to the pattern on the mug.

Tuesday Treasures gives you the chance to share something you really value.  It can be a thing, a person, a place, a feeling, a concept.  Anything you want it to be.  Just add your details to Mr Linky so we can all share your treasure.

  3. That is just gorgeous. I am to afraid to have pieces like that in my house. My kids seem to break anything and everything. One day...

  5. I love tea cups and pin cushions. Yours is lovely. I have never seen a flower like that on a tea cup before. I will have to try to make a pincushion like that. I saw one where they glued the saucer on too to catch bits and pieces.

  11. Lovely way to keep a memory alive and well I think using a cup (or any bowl really) as a pin cushion. I wished I'd kept a few of my mothers so now I could be enjoying them like that!
