Tuesday Treasures

This week I thought I'd share the lovely African Violets that I grow in pots on my kitchen and bedroom windowsills.   I seem to have the perfect spot for them as they really thrive.  I started off with a plain violet blue
but now I have pink, white and every imaginable shade of purple.
Do you have something you would like to share with us for Tuesday Treasures?  It can be a thing, a person or even an idea.  Just put your details into Mr Linky and share your treasure with us.

  1. Hi Melody,

Your African Violets are so pretty and yes you need the right position to keep them happy.
My Mother grew beautiful plants on her kitchen windowsill too.

    Happy Tuesday

  5. So, so pretty. My grandmother used to grow these, she had a room full of them! They're the only plant I can't seem to kill, too - they thrive for me also. I just LOVE them!

  9. I adore African Violets too. You definitely have to find the right spot for them though. I haven't introduced any into my new house but you have inspired me and I will get some very soon. Thanks for sharing Melody.

  13. we used to have heaps of African violets when we B.C. (before children) those were the days when I could look after them. The perfect position helps a lot. We even went to an African Violet show once. Boy that sounds sad lol.
