One Flower Wednesday

I made three hexie flowers this week
two for swaps...
and I finally got started on Confetti by Irene Blanck.  The fabric I'm using is Park Avenue by 3 Sisters with a few other bits and pieces from my stash.

A couple of months ago I joined Kilmore Quilters and last Sunday I went to a Sit and Sew day.  They are a fabulous group of people and I met a few kindred spirits - hexie makers of course.  I also met Jindi's human from Jindi's Cottage.  It was great to meet another lovely blogger.
Many thanks to Karen at Journey of a Quilter for One Flower Wednesday where she gives us the chance to share our flowers.

Don't forget tomorrow is our weekly Teddy Bears Picnic, so please look around, spy a teddy or a softie, take a picture and return tomorrow for heaps of fun.

  1. Hi Melody, your hexi flowers are lovely and the confetti flower is just stunning. It really makes the fussy cutting worth the effort. Those hexagon quilts are totally gorgeous. I would love to have a regular sewing group nearby.
Perhaps I need to start a sewing group here. The group at our local shop is full.

Can't wait to see your Park avenue flowers growing. I have cut my whole jelly roll and made hexagons from nearly all of it. I think you have definitely joined the right group for you.
