Colourful Friday

Robyn has asked us to think of the colours and images of Valentines Day for this week's Colourful Friday and nothing conjures up a more intense image of romance than vintage postcards.
And when I think of any sort of vintage image of I think of The Graphics Fairy.  This is a wonderful place to visit.
Next on my list is flowers.

And chocolate but then any day is perfect for chocolate not just Valentines Day.
And last but by no means least my very favourite - Cake - glorious, delightful, delicious, sublime, light, dense, chocolate, lemon, banana, cream, fluffy, mind-alteringly wonderful cake. Any excuse for cake in this household so Valentines Day brings the promise of a delicious treat. One of my very favourite blogs is Not Quite Nigella, I read it every day. Leanne shares lots of cake recipes and all are delicious.

Thank you Robyn for allowing me to think of lots of things I love.  I wonder what next Colourful Friday will bring?

    And of course the flowers are lovely.
    Chocolates.........delicious!
    But the cakes really top things off - they do look wonderful!!

    I thought of vintage valentines too. Fun post. Those cupcakes look yummy. And, then what about those chocolates. Love them! Have a great Valentine's Day.
