Teddy Bears Picnic

 Share a Teddy Bear
Another Thursday, another Teddy Bears Picnic.  This week I thought I'd share two cute little bears from SeaWorld.  Sam bought them both for me.  One on a family holiday and the other when he went to the Gold Coast with friends.  I've always been fascinated by polar bears and anytime there is a documentary on TV about them I tune in and marvel at their magnificence.

Do you have a bear to share?  Just pop your details into Mr Linky and we can all see your cute little bear.

And the winner is...
I've decided to send a small present to everyone who shared their bear last week so please send me your address and I'll pop a little present in the post.
 A Free Pattern
This weeks free pattern is for Sam Bear's jacket.  It can be made in any size and is so easy.  It can be made from any sort of material, for Sam's jacket I used cotton batting.  You can get the pattern HERE

A wonderful person with an amazing creative mind.  We have Robyn to thank for

plus her delightful softie friends.  Robyn sells her patterns and also shares free patterns with us.

Not only does Jodie sell her patterns she also shares a whole bunch of delightful free patterns for the cutest softies ever.

Jodie also features the delightful tales of some of her creations.  One of my favourites was all about Baxter, a lonely little chap who found friendship through kindness.

Clare designs delightful projects.  She is also the clever person who invented Tuesday Treasures, which she kindly passed to me.

  3. Hi Melody.
There is something special about Polar Bears. Their white colouring is beautiful and of course seeing them in the snow makes them stunning!
    Yours are great!
There is a lovely picture story book by Margaret Wild called Thank You Santa. It is a lovely story about many things but includes a polar bear at an Australian zoo. Worth a look.
    Thanks for today!

  4. Your polar bears are so cute! I love them too - we have a great Arctic Tunnel at our local zoo, you can watch the polar bears swimming above you. Sam Bear's jacket is adorable!

  5. Hi Melody, I made Sam Bear yesterday! He is joining us today for the picnic. I love his jacket, it is just great. Can't wait to have a go at making it. Thank you so much for the patterns.

I have some polar bears as well...One comes out with her cub at Christmas time, so is tucked away now in hibernation...in the loft...sadly she is just too big to have out all the time. The other is one that my husband bought me when I first came over to the UK.

Love the giveaway that is so kind of you thank you. My address and email is on the hexagon flower list.

Hope you had a lovely day.
