Tuesdays Treasures
Today's Tuesday Treasure is a favourite piece of jewelery. A couple of years ago my DH and I stayed in Ballarat for my birthday weekend. (I always try to make the celebrations last more than one day) . We went to a John Butler Concert in the park on Saturday night (fabulous) and on Sunday went for lunch in Creswick.
While there, we discovered a really lovely antique shop, and waiting (I like to think just for me) in a display case was the most beautiful silver antique elephant charm. Luckily my DH had not yet bought me a birthday gift, so it became mine.
I just love it. It is so detailed. I wear it nearly every day
Pop over to Clare's blog to see what treasures others are sharing this week. Thanks again to Clare for organising Tuesday Treasures. It is so much fun.

ReplyDeleteWow, not everyone can claim to receive an elephant for their birthday! Such a beautifully detailed one for so small an item too. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful charm - no wonder you treasure it.
ReplyDeleteAnd your pups look wonderful - I love that you have lots of names for each one. We are the same with our cats. Maybe I'll have to beg you for some pics to paint one day to continue developing my skills! :)
