He had a good play in the adventure playground in Eltham North
and then we called into Diamond Valley Miniature Railway in Lower Eltham Park for a bit of a ride. Diamond Valley Railwayis 55 years old this year and so they had a big celebration over the weekend with engines and enthusiasts coming from all over Australia to play. Friday and Saturday were not for the public but because Sam is a member, Henry and I could ride to our hearts content. Perfect weather and such a gorgeous location.
It is a very scrappy quilt and I don't have that many reproduction greens in my stash so I snapped up this bundle
Plus a few more for good measure.
Hopefully these fabrics will become hexagons in the next few days.
There is a wonderful blog post over at The Seasoned Homemaker.
If you go HERE, Leslie shares links to 15 gorgeous projects using repurposed vintage linens. Just wonderful. Thank you so much to Leslie and each of the project designers.
Hope you have a delightful day and a spooky Halloween evening
