Of course it was more hexies for me. These are going to be for my version of Irene Blanck's Confetti. I started this quilt many years ago in chocolate, raspberry and cream colours and I will finish that version one day.
After seeing the original at the Scquilters Meeting where Irene visited us, I decided to make a version using my Tilda stash. I'm very happy with how the hexies are looking so far. Love that soft and pretty look.
I ran out of 3/4 inch hexie papers so I started on the 20 little 3/8th of an inch flowers just inside the brown border.
It's really cold here in Melbourne at the moment...in fact it is hot water bottle weather so I thought this pattern for a charming hot water bottle cover was just what we needed
You can find the pattern by following this LINK to lovely Wash on Monday, Irony on Tuesday. Enormous thanks to Allison for sharing her creativity with us all.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. See you Monday
