Yesterday I met lovely Kaye from Kitten Stitching for lunch and I was thrilled to receive two huge bags of the most beautiful books... Jennifer Chiaverini novels...all hard back...all absolutely perfect and with some of the most beautiful dust covers I have ever seen. And they are for me to keep.
I'm starting with Mrs Lincoln's Dressmaker.
I cannot describe how thrilled I am by this amazing and wonderful gift. Thank you so much to dear Kaye.
I adore this dear little pear pin cushion and plan to make one to add to my pincushion collection. If you would like to make one too, please follow this LINK. The pattern is very kindly shared by Lauren at wonderful Molly and Mama.
Hope you enjoyed a fun filled day

What a lovely gift! Enjoy reading them Melody! Christine x
ReplyDeleteThey are a lovely range of books. I have them too. My daughter bought them for my birthdays & Xmas gifts over a few years. Really enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI think Mrs Lincoln's Dressmaker was one of the last ones... Enjoy

There is no better gift than a book and what a wonderful gift you were given. I, too, have very diverse tastes but I have read only a couple of the Elm Creek books, the first ones. I think the author has broadened into a very interesting genre and I, too, am putting her titles on my wish lists. Lucky you to have such a good friend!!
ReplyDeleteMelody, you are so very welcome! I hope that you enjoy them immensely!
