Wendy was a wonderful teacher and very inspiring and so my Round the Garden obsession has begun.
Here are some close ups of the quilt.
This is going to be so much fun. The great thing is you sew together as many of the little houses, flowers etc before you attach them so it also a very portable project.
Dear little Henry has his first experience of the Melbourne Grand Prix and had a wonderful time. Matty Mingay even featured a couple of photos of Henry and his post has received over 1.7k views
I do love a pretty dresden plate block.
And I don't think you could get a prettier version than those featured in this delightful and useful project. The pattern is very generously shared by Bev at fabulous Flamingo Toes. You can find it by following this LINK. Enormous thanks to Bev for sharing it with us.
I'm off to gorgeous The Quilt Shop in Eltham for a stitching afternoon, lucky me.
Hope you have something lucky happen to you too.
