I do, however, like the colours so I will redo it when I'm over this attack.
Meanwhile I'm stuck in bed, unable to walk without falling over, so I'm having a hexie day sewing together more of my red, pink and white hexies for my scavenged screen. Thank goodness for English Paper Piecing, those paper templates can cope with shaky hands.
If you love the Tilda look, there is a good chance you are a Kath Kidson fan too. I certainly love the work of both designers.
Here is a beautiful project featured on her The Kath Kidson site, HERE. There is a charming blog too, just go HERE.http://www.cathkidston.com/fcs/blog/
Have a fun filled day
Love
I hope you have better days soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry your MS is acting up! But very glad you are still able to do hexies! Whew! I don't know what I would do if I couldn't do handwork....cope, I guess! LOL! And I am grateful everyday that I still have my eyesight and can read too. I almost went blind becasue of my Grave's disease. Hang in there and you'll be back on your feet in no time!
ReplyDeleteI love Tilda and Cath and that project! Thank you!
I say keep the block! Doesn't look bad and it was representative of how you felt at the time. Makes it all the more personal in my opinion. Great work xx
ReplyDeleteDarling girl, you are in my prayers! {{{love you}})
ReplyDeleteMel, I love your block... xx
I just love the colors in your block! Mel, I must say I admire your spirit so much, you're stuck in bed but still stitching - you're an inspiration. I'm praying for much better days quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh, hope you are feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree keep the block because not every block needs to be perfect, in fact to my eyes, it proves a human made it and it wasn't mass produced! Having said that if mine turns out that good not only will I be amazed but truly grateful!! Why not catch some darker red or black, single thread through the antena to lift them a little? I really like it so look at it later don't just discard it OR send it me please!! You do so well despite that blummin illness so I reckon the block deserves to be part of of the whole story of this quilt!
ReplyDeleteHope you are up & about by now. Hugs!
