I've been a member of Scquilters (an online quilting group) for well over 10 years. I've been on retreat with about 100 of them but I've never been to a Victorian Meeting. Lovely Ramona encourages me to attend everytime I see her at a Gail Pan/Ramona Hermann Stitching Day or run into her at a quilt show.
I woke up to a perfect Melbourne spring morning so I thought, a great day for a drive and off I went. It took about an hour but was a very easy drive on good roads.
I had a wonderful time. A lovely group of super friendly women made me feel so welcome so I'll definitely be back every month from now on.
Here are a few pics from Show and Tell.
They do have their own blog HERE.
I thought a bag made up from this fabulous free pattern would make a wonderful and useful gift.
If you follow this LINK to Zaaberry you will find a great tutorial. This is a great blog to visit with a multitude of fabulous tutorials. Enormous thanks to Zaaberry.
Hope you had time for some stitching today
Love
PS I may not post until the evenings for the next few days as my adored and adorable little Henry is coming to stay.
Fantastic! Thanks for the link too.
