Christmas in July
Last Sunday Annie and I very happily participated in Lilly Patches Christmas in July. Louise and Lisa from Max and Louise were our tutors for the day and we were given a large selection of gorgeous projects which they had prepared in collaboration with Barb Smith from Theodora Cleave.
We received heaps of patterns including these.
Lou and Lisa are always very generous at their stitching days, giving us so many patterns to take home.
It was a really cold wet day so it was fabulous to be in a lovely warm hall, eating delicious treats, chatting and stitching away. I decided to start with this project,
so spent my day making little 3/8" hexies. (Which I can't find so I'll add a photo when they turn up.)
It was a wonderful day and a great opportunity to see more of their wonderful quilts.
Big hugs to Lorraine and her gorgeous friends, it was wonderful to catch up with you too.
