After Sunday night's terrible storm, Michael checked on his horses and found Hamish dead in his paddock. Sweet, gentle little Hamish had been struck by lightning and tragically he died. Poor John is so sad, Hamish was his friend. Anyone who has ever loved an animal will understand how hard it is to lose them suddenly. So farewell sweet Hamish, you were such a fine boy.
As you know I love cute things and you can't get much cuter than this dear little hedgehog bag.
You can find him HERE at wonderful Craft Passion where many many wonderful patterns, recipes and great ideas are shared.
And just because he is so cute here is a picture of a real baby hedgehog. Aaahhhh.
Have a day full of happiness
Love
Oh Melody, I am so sad to hear about poor little Hamish, John must be devastated. My condolences.
ReplyDeleteThat is so very sad to hear about Hamish.
ReplyDeletePlease give John and Michael my sympathy. I love animals and especially horses. I used to have 2 and they've both passed on and I think of them often and it pains me to think I will never have another. The relationship is extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the cute pattern and the photo of the cutest hedgehog!
Hamish was a handsome horse! Maybe he'll meet up with mine.
Oh, Mel! How tragic! I owned horses for many years and know how attached we can get to them. I truly believe my Toby - the horse of my dreams - knew my feelings. He taught me well. Sometimes when I'd ride him (dressage), we would really "get it" - I felt like we were Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire - dancing across the arena. My sympathies to all of you.
