Saint Valentine's Day

I played along with Cheryll's Initial Heart Swap and it was great fun.

My parcel from Jan (no blog) was full of delightful goodies.
And John was really happy too, as he loves a Cherry Ripe and gobbled it all up. Many many thanks to Jan.
My initial heart went over to Lyn (no blog) and she tells me it's happily hanging on her sewing room wall.  I like it so much I might make one for my sewing room too.  Here's the Pinterest pic that inspired my project.

 Of course I popped in some chocolates too.


This little bag is beautiful and I found it HERE at The Heart Felt Company  Many many thanks to Michelle who shared it with us.  Delightful on Valentines Day in fact delightful on any day.

    What lovely and tasty treasures you received. I love the heart you did and I want to do one of those too! Isn't that vintage one darling too with the aging? Maybe I'll do one and tea dye it to make it look old like that. So sweet! I grabbed the heart bag pattern and a picture of the heart hexie. Thank you to all. I am organizing my crafts/patterns and inspiration from others by holiday when appropriate. When I want to make things for Valentine's gifts next year I can just search for "Valentine's Day" on my pc and all the recipes, decorating, and crafts will come up together. I'm hoping that will help me be more prepared when those special days arrive.
