Friday Night Wih Friends result.

I thought it was time to complete one of my UFO's.  This was my first go at foundation piecing and I really enjoyed it. I made it for a Bowls with Borders Blog Hop organised by Madam Samm and Carol with the gorgeous design very kindly shared by Regina Grewe

So Friday night out it came and I quilted away. Can't see much quilting?  That's because I quilted with perle cotton for two hours then spent half an hour pulling it all out because it just didn't look right on this quilt.  I started quilting in the ditch with red thread and I like it, so that's what I will do.
When it's finished it's going to take its place on my mini wall.

These absolutely gorgeous printable paper dolls are shared HERE at Babble. There nine more sets of dollies shared too.  I loved playing with paper dolls when I was a little girl and thought maybe someone in you life might enjoy this simple fun too.  They would also look super cute framed on a little girl's bedroom wall.

Lovely Carol at Just Let Me Quilt has a giveaway to celebrate her 500th post and it's a great prize. Please pop over and say Hi.

And don't forget to enter my Grow Your Blog giveaway too.  Just go to this post

Have a wonderful day
Love

  14. I just love your bowl stack. Looks like lots of pieces! So sad about your first lot of quilting but it has to be right after spending so much time and effort on the paper piecing and stitching. I used to love playing with my paper dolls when I was little. The ones you have found look so detailed and pretty. Thanks for the link. Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. I still can't leave a reply for you in google plus. The star is looking pretty good. This minute stars are my favourite thing. It seems I have more time for cooking but I will definitely have to make time to walk it all off too.
