One of my promises to myself for 2014 was to follow my lovely friend Sue's philosophy and make something for charity, something for the gift basket and something for myself each month. This is a little baby blanket I'll be sending to Cheryll for Blankets of Love once I've done some quilting on it.
I'm off to hospital today for a battery of tests and a medication review - I currently have 15 tablets and an injection each day - to see if anything can be done to make me feel a little bit better. So fingers crossed all will go well.
I notice that quite a few people are making dresden plates at the moment so when I saw this amazing example and a detailed tutorial I thought it was a great one to share.
So many, many thanks to Lurline at Lurline's Place for sharing it with us. The link is HERE.Please pop over to Chookyblue's place and read about the hardship our farmers and their animals are enduring in this time of drought in parts of Australia. It is very sad that our federal government won't even acknowledge they are in a drought.
Hope you get some sewing time today
Love
