National Mug Rug Day

Luckily lovely Bev, of Kainga Happenings, reminded me that today is National Mug Rug Day and I'm dedicating this post to my lovely friend Shez, who is the Mug Rug Queen of the Mill Rosie Friends. She just loves them and often features them on her blog, Enjoying Life. Strangely they keep mysteriously appearing in her letter box.  I wonder who is doing it?  Could her Mill Rosie friends have secretly banded together to send her these treats?

 I've made quite a few over the years and a couple more lately which I thought I'd share today.


The latest one I made used a block very similar to this but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture before posting it off to a much loved friend.






These little coasters or mini mug rugs are delightful.

    Happy mug rug day my funny friend,did you send me the lovely one with buttons ,I have it hanging on my sewing room wall,lol,never thought for a minute it was the quietest 2 of my friends behind this lot of fun and games,lol,you had a lot of people guessing,lots of fun girls.xx
