I experimented using selvage as a binding...and I really like the look when coupled with this fabulous fabric. I bought it when I was at Gail's Patchwork Emporium in Ballarat with Christine. I only bought half a metre - oh how I wish I'd bought more.
This is another bloggy Christmas gift. I love the project bag Christine made for me so much, I copied the idea. Here's some made by clever Christine.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea using selvage as binding and it looks really good. I have started saving selvages but I thought I'd just use them to tie things up with like a bow. Love those little project bags and they all look so sweet with different fabrics. Thanks for putting a smile on my dial again.
