As anyone who knows me can attest - I love food. I particularly love good bread. I eat supermarket bread but only when I can't get 'proper bread'. I'm prepared to travel quite a distance to get it. On Saturday while at Noisette I bought a traditional baguette (among a range of other things) while John ran into the grocery store Thomas Dux for some cheese. We'd taken a thermos so I even had my cup of tea. We sat and watched the boats at Williamstown. So simple, just divine.
So today my Tuesday Treasure is the very simple things in life. Do you have something you treasure to share with us, your bloggy friends. It can be anything as long as it is important to you. Just pop your details into Mr Linky and play along.
Pop over and visit Cyndi at Bee Tree Designs and you'll find this gorgeous vintage embroidery design.
That is so wonderful. I used to love driving to Williamstown to watch the boats and the view. I wish I'd known about that great bakery. Three cheers for the simple things in life!!
My treasure is my dear sweet hubby who ALWAYS thinks of me first and often surprises me with one of life's simplest joys...coffee...hot or iced. Yesterday it was Pumpkin Spice Coffee to welcome in Fall!
I couldn't agree more.....good bread, cheese and some fruit......perfect anywhere, anytime.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely way to spend some time!
ReplyDeleteHello Melody,
ReplyDeleteI love good bread too, no plain white bread here.
Enjoy your day.
